Shonet Martin

Shonet Martin knew she was going to be an artist at a young age.  Her favorite subject was always art class.  She majored in art in high school and went on to receive a B.S. in art education and a MA in studio from Ball State. 

 

She has taught in area elementary and middle schools. She also completed artist residency programs with Very Special Arts of Indiana to become a Master artist. Shonet was also an artist in residents at the Seattle Washington Childrens Museum.

 

She now works out of her home studio in mixed media and ceramics. Her work can be viewed at Gordy's Art and Framing in downtown Muncie and her face book page Floating Woman Studio.
