Andrew Slack

Andrew Slack retired in 2008 after a career teaching Geography and Urban Studies at Ball State, an assignment at the U K Scottish Office on urban policy and retail consulting for the U S Small Business Administration.
​
Working first in watercolor and later in oils and pastels, to create paintings that have some artistic merit has been a lifelong goal. In the past 15 years Slack has taken watercolor, pastel, portrait, and anatomy drawing classes, first at the Indianapolis Art Center and then at the Carmel Art Education Studio.
