Join us for our monthly guild meeting at Minnetrista Museum and Gardens on the first Wednesday of each month from 6 to 8 pm. Members gather to connect, share their work, learn from one another, and stay involved in upcoming exhibitions and events.

Old Washington Street Festival
Muncie Artists Guild will be set up at the Old Washington Street Festival! Stop by our boothand take part in face painting, caricatures and marble painting. There will original art done by our guild members for sale and a gift card basket raffle.

Artist of the Month
Jerry Wire
As the Best of Show Winner of the Muncie Artists Guild’s Annual Show, JERRY WIRE is the featured Artist of the Month for September 2026.
Jerry worked as a teacher of art at Muncie Community Schools for over 30 years and volunteered at Minnetrista for various projects after he retired.
His youth was influenced by his grandfather’s oil painting. He designed the Madison Heights school shield that was installed on the gymnasium wall and did set designs for plays while in school.
His main interest is in art history and the study of men and women over the ages of Western Civilization, their interpretation of life, and how they handled their subjects.
He does both two and three-dimensional projects, His projects include charcoal and pastels, oils, acrylic portraits, ceramics, throwing, terra-cotta, papier-mâché, kites, mosaics weaving, hyper-tufa garden sculptures and printmaking.
